UNIVERSITÉ CATHOLIQUE DE L'OUEST - ASSOCIATION ST-YVES
Founded in 1875, the Western Catholic University (UCO) is one of the oldest universities in the West. It has 11,000 students and is deployed on 8 campuses of West and overseas. The PESSOA research group (Pedagogies Socialization and Learning) is attached to the faculty of education of the UCO. PESSOA brings together about twenty researchers as well as around twenty associate researchers, doctoral students and a few professionals. She is particularly interested in modes of education, socialization, training and knowledge acquisition. The team’s unifying theme is “Educate: Mutations, Vulnerabilities, Permanences” which is thus broken down into three themes:

AREA 3: EDUCATION AND HEALTH
The research team works on themes related to these axes: the relationship to knowledge, neurosciences, educational ideas, disorders and disability, conditions in learning, didactics and pedagogy, lifelong learning.
